Recruiters: You have got to keep up with the interview velocity you set at the jump!
All too often I hear about candidates doing 2 to 3 interviews back to back, and then they are ghosted for 2+ weeks without hearing from the recruiter regarding the next step.
If you move quickly, you have to keep up that pace. If you can't, for one reason or another, communicate with the candidate frequently, so that they know what's going on and understand why the speed of the process has changed.
The zero-to-sixty start with an e-brake activated immediately after gives your candidate whiplash. Stop doing it.
