The Great Minority
We all know that we have until 2050 to address climate change.
What you may not know: We have until 2050 to address Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the workplace.
By 2050, the collective minority will become the majority in our country - a shift I have coined, "The Great Minority."
The fact is - our demographic is already changing. Many account these changes as the reason for the rise in hate crimes and violence. Fear of "white extinction" has been listed as one of the major factors in the outcome of the 2016 election.
As Gen-Zers & Alphas continue to enter the workforce, the workplace will naturally become more diverse. This change will result in a rise in racism, bias, and harassment if nothing is done by corporations to combat this and educate their employees on anti-racism, allyship, and activism.
Companies are at a pivotal crossroads.
#BlackLivesMatter isn't a movement. It's a revolution.
Change is coming.
The companies that get it right will survive and prosper.
Those that don't will fail.
